I figured that since that last post was so depressing, I should write something a little more uplifting.
We had a pretty nice little weekend. A last minute decision to avoid crowds and not see Harry Potter led to a very nice impromptu date night at Lightfoot in Leesburg. We did some house cleaning and completely cleaned out the nursery. Now it's just waiting for Lizzy's magic touch to be a cute little place for the baby and all it's things. On Saturday night, we saw Wicked at the Kennedy Center. We had great seats and the play was fantastic! Today we played mini golf with some church people and had a relaxing day. A nice change from the chaos of last weekend.
I would have also preferred that the US Women's Team won the World Cup, but with all that Japan has been through, I am glad they have something to cheer about. Also, I am excited that the NFL lockout appears to be close to over and we can watch football next month!
All in all, a good weekend!
